Ο τελευταίος χρονικά στουντιακός δίσκος των Night Demon κυκλοφόρησε προ πενταετίας ("Darkness Remains" - Απρίλιος 2017). Την επόμενη χρονιά (Αύγουστος 2018) "βγήκε" το "ζωντανά" ηχογραφημένο album "Live Darkness".
Έκτοτε οι Αμερικανοί metallers κυκλοφορούν μόνο singles. Όλα αυτά συγκεντρώθηκαν και μαζί με κάποιες διασκευές θα συγκροτήσουν την συλλογή "Year of the Demon", η οποία αναμένεται στα τελειώματα του επόμενου μήνα με την μπάντα να μας λέει:

Year of the Demon compiles all five of the rare, out-of-print 2020 singles (including the rare B-Sides previously only available on the sold out vinyl 7”s) into a unified compendium for release in a broad range of physical and digital formats.
The reasons for doing so are straightforward. After all, the strictly limited nature and quick sell-outs of the initial 7” releases meant that even die-hard Night Demon fans may have missed out on the opportunity to obtain them in a physical edition. Who’s ready for this? »
