Η δισκογραφική επιστροφή των Villagers of Ioannina City -μετά από μία πενταετία- είναι γεγονός. Ο διάδοχος του (εξαιρετικού) album "Riza" τιτλοφορείται "Age of Aquarius". Το έδαφος προετοιμάζει η ακρόαση του "Father Sun".

Οι Villagers of Ioannina City μας έρχονται (όπως μαρτυράει και τ' όνομά τους) από τα Ιωάννινα και "παντρεύουν" με εξαιρετικό τρόπο την πολυφωνική μουσική της Ηπείρου με το heavy rock. Ηλεκτρικές κιθάρες και κλαρίνο. Το 2010 συστήθηκαν δισκογραφικά στο κοινό κυκλοφορώντας ένα promo έξι τραγουδιών.

Τον Απρίλιο του 2014 "έσκασε σαν βόμβα" στην εγχώρια μουσική σκηνή το ντεμπούτο τους "Riza" για να το διαδεχθεί (τον Νοέμβριο του ίδιου έτους) το ep "Zvara​ / ​Karakolia". Η μπάντα μας συστήνεται (σε όσους δεν την γνωρίζουν ακόμη) κάπως έτσι:

«V.I.C (Villagers of Ioannina City) is an experimental psychedelic/rock band from Ioannina City (Greece). They play a kind of post rock with a big dose of greek-folk traditional music from Epirus.»
