Τον Οκτώβριο του 1984 κυκλοφορούσε το παρθενικό single ενός Νορβηγικού pop συγκροτήματος A-ha. "Take On Me" ο τίτλος του single με το ομότιτλο τραγούδι να γίνεται η μεγαλύτερη -πιθανά- επιτυχία τους και γενικότερα μία από τις μεγαλύτερες μουσικές επιτυχία της pop κουλτούρας στην δεκαετία του ογδόντα. Επίσης αποτέλεσε μέρος του δίσκου "Hunting High and Low" που κυκλοφόρησε το επόμενο έτος (το καλοκαίρι του 1985).

Σήμερα θα ακούσουμε την προσέγγιση των Iron Savior στο συγκεκριμένο μουσικό κομμάτι. Θα αποτελέσει μέρος του δίσκου διασκευών "Awesome Anthems Of The Galaxy" που αναμένεται στα τελειώματα του πρώτου ανοιξιάτικου μήνα (27 Μαρτίου 2026), με τον (τραγουδιστή, κιθαρίστα) Piet Sielck να μας λέει σχετικά:

«'Take On Me' for sure is one of the most successful pop songs ever. So in the beginning it was more a 'must' than a 'want'...but during the process of transforming it, I started to love this version more and more. Today I am more than happy to have this classic on the album and I'm proud of the outcome!»

Το μακρινό 1978 οι μαθητές Kai Hansen (κιθάρα) - Piet Sielck (φωνή) δημιούργησαν τους Gentry. Είχαν πάρει μέρος μάλιστα σε σχολικό διαγωνισμό παίζοντας διασκευές σε κομμάτια των Uriah Heep, Led Zeppelin και Black Sabbath συν δικό τους υλικό. Ακολούθησε η ηχογράφηση ενός demo. Στην συνέχεια ήρθαν στην μπάντα οι Ingo Schwichtenberg (τύμπανα) - Markus Grosskopf (μπάσο) και η μπάντα μετονομάσθηκε σε Second Hell.

Το επόμενο όνομα ήταν Iron Fist και το μεθεπόμενο; Helloween. Ο Piet Sielck συνέχισε να ασχολείται με την μουσική. Όχι όμως ως τραγουδιστής αλλά ως παραγωγός / τεχνικός ήχου. Έβαλε την "σφραγίδα" του σε πάρα πολλούς δίσκους. Συνεργάσθηκε με Saxon, Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, Grave Digger, Twisted Tower Dire, Stormwarrior, Wizard, Paragon, Black Majesty κλπ.

Το 1996 Hansen και Sielck αποφάσισαν να θυμηθούν τα παλιά δημιουργώντας τους Iron Savior, οι οποίοι παραμένουν ενεργοί μέχρι τις ημέρες μας. Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει δεκαέξι "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους (συν ένα EP, μπόλικα singles και ένα live album)...
