Το τραγούδι "Eye Of The Tiger" δεν νομίζω ότι χρειάζεται συστάσεις ή ιδιαίτερη παρουσίαση. Αποτελεί ένα από τα πλέον από τα μεγαλύτερα σουξέ της δεκαετίας του ογδόντα και από τα πιο αναγνωρίσιμα μουσικά κομμάτια στο ευρύτερο φάσμα της rock μουσικής.

Αυτό οφείλεται στην κινηματογραφική ταινία "Rocky III" ("Ρόκυ Νο 3: Ο Θρίαμβος"), με τον Sylvester Stallone να "τρώει χυλόπιτα" από τους Queen (για το τραγούδι "Another One Bites the Dust") και να στρέφεται στους Survivor. Στην δημιουργία του (μουσική σύνθεση και στίχοι) έχουν συνεισφέρει ο Frankie Sullivan και ο Jim Peterik.

Το ακούμε στο soundtrack της ταινίας, στον ομότιτλο δίσκο των Survivor που κυκλοφόρησε τον Ιούνιο του 1982, ενώ κυκλοφόρησε και αυτόνομα, ως single, τον Μάιο του 1982 με το τραγούδι "Take You on a Saturday" στην δεύτερη πλευρά του βινυλίου. "1998 Live Hits" τιτλοφορείται το νέο πόνημα του Jim Peterik.

Πρόκειται για "ζωντανά" ηχογραφημένο δίσκο, αποτελείται από 13 τραγούδια (μεταξύ αυτών και μία διασκευή στο "Riders on the Storm" των Doors), αρχίζει ("Burning Heart") και "κλείνει" ("Eye Of The Tiger") με τις δύο μεγαλύτερες επιτυχίες των Survivor και αναμένεται τον επόμενο μήνα (12 Δεκεμβρίου 2025) μέσω της δισκογραφικής εταιρείας Frontiers Music srl...

Backing Jamison is a seasoned and soulful ensemble: longtime collaborators Jeff Adams (bass, vocals) and Hal Butler (keyboards, vocals) were joined by guitarist Chris Adamson, drummer Pete Mendillo, and Memphis-based producer and guitarist Wes Henley, who also supervised these live album recordings.

This lineup reflects a strong musical camaraderie built over years of touring, with several members having roots alongside Jamison that date back to his 1970s band Target.
