Το 1980, όταν διαλύθηκαν οι Fandango, ο Ritchie Blackmore (μέσω του Barry Ambrosio), που έψαχνε τον αντικαταστάτη του Graham Bonnet, τηλεφώνησε στον Joe Lynn Turner και τα υπόλοιπα είναι (μουσική) ιστορία.
Ο Αμερικανός έγινε ο τρίτος τραγουδιστής του "Ουρανίου Τόξου", βάζοντας την "υπογραφή" του σε τρία full length albums ("Difficult to Cure" 1981, "Straight Between the Eyes" 1982, "Bent Out of Shape" 1983).
Αργότερα τον ακολούθησε (τον Ritchie) και στους Deep Purple, αλλά αυτό είναι μία άλλη ιστορία. Το τραγούδι "Street Of Dreams" το βρίσκουμε στον τρίτο δίσκο, ο οποίος κυκλοφόρησε το καλοκαίρι του 1983 (το δεύτερο μουσικό κομμάτι της δεύτερης πλευράς του βινυλίου).
Παράλληλα "βγήκε" και αυτόνομα, ως single. Φέρει την υπογραφή του Ritchie Blackmore (μουσική) και του Joe Lynn Turner (στίχοι). Το βίντεο του εν λόγω τραγουδιού (όπως και του "Can't Let You Go") σκηνοθέτησε ο Storm Thorgerson.
