Οι Kradle μας έρχονται από τον Καναδά. Σχηματίσθηκαν το μακρινό 1982 και έμειναν ενεργοί για μία επταετία. Ως προς το μουσικό τους ύφος; Η νυν εταιρεία τους (Heaven and Hell Records) δηλώνει πως απευθύνονται στους φίλους της μουσικής των Dokken, Keel, Black n Blue, WASP και Armored Saint.
Έγιναν σχετικά γνωστοί το 1983 όταν άνοιξαν την συναυλία των Blue Oyster Cult στο Βανκούβερ (Pacific Colesium). Μοναδικό τους δισκογραφικό αποτύπωμα στην δεκαετία του ογδόντα ήταν το ομώνυμο -τεσσάρων τραγουδιών- demo που κυκλοφόρησε αυτοχρηματοδοτούμενο (demo γαρ) το 1986 σε κασέτα. Η μπάντα επανήλθε το 2002.
Την ίδια χρονιά "βγήκε" και το ντεμπούτο των Καναδών metallers υπό τον τίτλο "Unleashed" (επίσης αυτοχρηματοδοτούμενο). Η (δισκογραφική) συνέχεια δόθηκε πέρυσι (2021) με την κυκλοφορία της συλλογής "Standing on the Edge" μέσω της Supreme Echo σε βινύλιο (450 αντίτυπα) και σε ψηφιακή μορφή. Η Heaven and Hell Records το "έβγαλε" σε cd στα τέλη του καλοκαιριού...

One of VanCity’s first heavy metal bands, Kradle would have the talent, the look and the sound craved by an eagerly awaiting audience. And after a stroke of luck and a chance opportunity, the band would find themselves presented with possibilities that could have elevated Kradle to the next level. But bad decisions, mismanagement and an untimely tragedy would inevitably seal Kradle's fate.»
