Την λογική της διλογίας που ξεκίνησαν με το "Chronicles of the Immortals: Netherworld" (το πρώτο μέρος "βγήκε" το 2014 και το δεύτερο το 2015) συνέχισαν οι Vanden Plas. Οι Γερμανοί progsters κυκλοφόρησαν το "The Ghost Xperiment" σε... δύο "δόσεις".
Το πρώτο μέρος τιτλοφορείται "The Ghost Xperiment - Awakening" και κυκλοφόρησε το 2019, ενώ το δεύτερο φέρει τον τίτλο "The Ghost Xperiment - IIlumination" και "βγήκε" πρόπερσι. Παρακολουθούμε το lyric video του τραγουδιού "Krieg Kennt Keine Sieger", στο οποίο συμμετέχει και ο Alea der Bescheidene των Saltatio Mortis. Εξάλλου διασκευή σε τραγούδι της μπάντας του αφορά.
