Τον Μάρτιο του 1986 σχηματίσθηκαν στην Γαλλία οι Legend από την ένωση δύο συγκροτημάτων, των Initial και των Exod. Έμειναν ενεργοί για μισή δεκαετία κυκλοφορώντας δύο demos ["Mandragore" 1987, "Carnaval de fer (Live)" 1989] κι ένα single ("Le porteur de lumière / Les enfants de la tempête" 1988).
Πέρυσι η δισκογραφική εταιρεία Moonstriker Records συγκέντρωσε όλα τα ηχογραφήματα της μπάντας και κυκλοφόρησε (σε cd) την συλλογή "Contes Inachevés". Φέτος η Lost Realm Records την "βγάζει" σε βινύλιο (300 αντίτυπα)...
