Οι Amaranthe δημιουργήθηκαν στην Γκέτεμποργκ το 2008 ως Avalanche. Τον Μάιο της επόμενης χρονιάς μετονομάσθηκαν σε Amaranthe συνεχίζοντας μέχρι τις ημέρες μας. Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει πέντε "ολοκληρωμένους" στουντιακούς δίσκους...
