Οι Terra 1nc0gnita διασκευάζουν Νταλάρα (video)
Οι Terra 1nc0gnita (τους βρίσκουμε και ως Terra Incωgnita) μας έρχονται από την Αθήνα. Δημιουργήθηκαν προ δεκαετίας, αναφέρουν ως επιρροές μπάντες όπως οι Fates Warning, Queensryche, Dream Theater κι έχουν κυκλοφορήσει ένα ep ("Sign with Blood" 2016) και δύο "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους ("Barren Land" 2011, "Fragments of a Ruined Mind" 2017).
Ο τρίτος αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει μέσα στο 2020 από την Symmetric Records (του Μπάμπη Κατσιώνη). Το έδαφος προετοιμάζει το βίντεο του τραγουδιού "Stranger". Πρόκειται για διασκευή στο "Ξένος για σένανε κι εχθρός", το οποίο ερμήνευσε ο Γιώργος Νταλάρας το 1989. Μουσική Χρήστου Νικολόπουλου, στίχοι Λευτέρη Παπαδόπουλου...
Bio (Gr): «Με ηγέτη το χαρισματικό νεοϋορκέζο front-man Billy Vass, οι Terra 1nc0gnita είναι μια μπάντα που περπατάει σε μονοπάτια μιας πλειονότητας metal ειδών και αποχρώσεων. Το συγκρότημα καταφέρνει να τα αναμειγνύει όλα μαζί ομαλά, δημιουργώντας ένα μοναδικό, χαρακτηριστικό ήχο που είναι ταυτόχρονα μελωδικός και γεμάτος από καλώς εννοούμενη επιθετικότητα.
Έχοντας σαν βάση το κλασσικό μελωδικό heavy metal, η ανάμειξη επικών και ατμοσφαιρικών στοιχείων ενισχύεται και βελτιώνεται με την προσθήκη 'σκοτεινών' και λυρικών θεμάτων σε όλες τις συνθέσεις τους. Η μπάντας, κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο τους full length δίσκο, το 2012, με τίτλο, "BARREN LAND" και αμέσως μετρά, βγάλανε το βίντεο κλιπ για το τραγούδι "OUTCOME", το οποίο παίχτηκε στο M.t.v. Headbangers Ball, και στο MAD-T.V. War, αντίστοιχα...
Το δεύτερο video clip της μπάντας, βγήκε το 2016, για το τραγούδι, "In the Mist". Η δεύτερη τους δισκογραφική δουλειά, με τίτλο "Fragments of a Ruined Mind" έχει κυκλοφορήσει από την δισκογραφική εταιρία του Bob Katsionis, Symmetric records, το 2017... Το E.P. κυκλοφόρησε το 2016, με τίτλο,"Sign with Blood".»
Bio (En): «Led by the charismatic New York native, front-man Billy Vass, Terra 1nc0gnita is a band treading waters in a multitude of metal subgenres. The band manages to blend them all together seamlessly, generating a unique and unmistakable sound, melodic, yet full of healthy aggression! With a firm base of classic melodic heavy metal at their core, their fusion of progressive, epic and atmospheric elements is reinforced and enhanced by the inclusion of dark themes throughout their compositions and lyrical subjects.
Terra 1nc0gnita was born in 2010. After the self-release of their inaugural album, “Barren Land”,which was received favourably by the press - including Metal Hammer - and having aired their first official music video clip, "OUTCOME",on Mtv's HeadbangersBall, the band went through line-up changes.
After supporting their 1st album with many lives shows, both locally and abroad,(Rock Harvest Fest, House of Rock, Baltimore, U.S.A., opening for Matt Barlows’, Ashes of Ares)Terra 1nc0gnita had to re-invent itself. This sensitive stage, ultimately forced the band into a hiatus.
Wanting to show the new direction the band was taking, they self-released a 4 song E.P. in 2016, titled, “Sign with Blood”. This E.P. was the stepping stone for the signing of the band to Bob Katsionis' record label, Symmetric records, which has released their 2nd album, titled, “Fragments of a Ruined Mind”, in 2017.
A concept album, with many twists and unpredictable turns. They supported the 2nd album with 2 video-clips, for the songs “In the Mist” and “The Midnight Lies”. Showcasing their powerful live performance, the band played many live shows, including opening for Swallow the Sun, @ the Metal Gates festival, in Bucarest, Romania, and opening for the mighty Firewind @ the Satu Mare open air festival, also in Romania.
Terra 1nc0gnita will continue supporting their 2nd album in 2018, with a mini-tour of Greece, with the classic american heavy metal band, Omen, and closing out, with a show in Athens, opening for the mighty Grave Digger. 2019 started with an awesome show, for the band, supporting the great Gus G, & Primal Fear, in Athens.»
