Στα τελειώματα του χειμώνα του 2000, στο μεταίχμιο δύο δεκαετιών - δύο αιώνων - δύο χιλιετηρίδων, κυκλοφορούσε -μέσω της δισκογραφικής εταιρείας Nuclear Blast Records- το ένατο full length album των Stratovarius υπό τον τίτλο "Infinite".

Το συνθετικό και στιχουργικό "βάρος" σήκωσε ο Timo Tolkki (πλην του τραγουδιού "Glory of the World", το οποίο φέρει εξ ολοκλήρου την υπογραφή του Jens Johansson) και του εναρκτήριου μουσικού κομματιού "Hunting High and Low", του οποίου τους στίχους έγραψε ο Timo Kotipelto.

Τον επόμενο μήνα (2 Οκτωβρίου 2026) ο εν λόγω δίσκος θα γνωρίσει μία ακόμη επανακυκλοφορία σε μόνο και διπλό βινύλιο με extra μουσικό υλικό. Ακούμε τους Timo Tolkki (κιθάρα), Jens Johansson (πλήκτρα), Timo Kotipelto (φωνητικά), Jörg Michael (τύμπανα) και Jari Kainulainen (μπάσο).
