Με το τραγούδι "Hardcore" από μία συλλογή μουσικού περιοδικού (νομίζω του Metal Hammer) γνώρισα τους Ruthless. Αμερικάνικο heavy metal συγκρότημα, το οποίο έδρασε στην δεκαετία του ογδόντα για μία πενταετίας (1983-1988) κυκλοφορώντας ένα single, ένα ep και έναν "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο ("Discipline of Steel" - 1986, από εκεί και το "Hardcore").

Επανήλθαν το 2008 και συνεχίζουν ακάθεκτοι μέχρι τις ημέρες μας. Τέσσερις οι δίσκοι από την στιγμή της επιστροφής του, με τον πλέον πρόσφατο το full length album "Curse of the Beast", το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε τον πρώτο καλοκαιρνό μήνα (17 Ιουλίου 2026) από την δισκογραφική εταιρεία Fireflash Records.

Από τα αρχικά μέλη της "παλιοπαρέας" έχει (απο)μείνει ο τραγουδιστής Sammy DeJohn. Μαζί του, στον δίσκο, οι Sandy K. Vasquez (μπάσο), Glen Paul (κιθάρα) και Joe Aghassi (τύμπανα). Το τελευταίο τραγούδι ("Metal Gods") αποτελεί διασκευή σε Judas Priest.
