Το τριήμερο 17, 18 και 19 Μαΐου 2024 πραγματοποιήθηκε το (προπέρσινο) μουσικό φεστιβάλ "Rock Hard Festival". Την δεύτερη ημέρα του φεστιβάλ (18/05/2024) εμφανίσθηκαν (και) οι Vandenberg και έχουμε στην διάθεσή μας, σε βίντεο την απόδοσή τους στο (υπερ)κλασικό τραγούδι των Whitesnake "Crying In The Rain".
Το εν λόγω μουσικό κομμάτι το γνωρίσαμε σε δύο εκδοχές. Στην αρχική που βρίσκουμε στον δίσκο του 1982 "Saints and Sinners" και στην επανηχογραφημένη μορφή του, η οποία αποτέλεσε μέρος του ομώνυμου δίσκου των Whitesnake (γνωστού και ως "1987").
Ο Adrian Vandenberg έγινε ευρέως γνωστός στο μουσικόφιλο κοινό από την θητεία του στους Whitesnake. Ολλανδός κιθαρίστας, ο οποίος ξεκίνησε την δισκογραφική του καριέρα το 1978 με τους Teaser (και τον ομώνυμο δίσκο τους). Ακολούθησαν οι Vandenberg κυκλοφορώντας (το διάστημα 1982-1985) τρία albums.
Τα τελευταία χρόνια δημιούργησε τους Vandenberg's MoonKings με απολογισμό δύο "κανονικά" και ένα ακουστικό album. Εν έτει 2020 επαναδημιούργησε τους Vandenberg με τον Ronnie Romero στα φωνητικά, τον Randy van der Elsen στο μπάσο και τον Koen Herfst στα τύμπανα, ενώ συνεισφέρουν ως καλεσμένοι καλλιτέχνες όπως ο Rudy Sarzo ή ο Brian Tichy.
Το αποτέλεσμα της επανασύνδεσης το ακούσαμε με την κυκλοφορία του τέταρτου δίσκου των Vandenberg υπό τον τίτλο "2020" (δεν χρειάζεται να πω ποια χρονιά "βγήκε"). Ακολούθησε (το 2021) νέα αλλαγή τραγουδιστή, με τον Mats Levén (βλ. Yngwie Malmsteen, Candlemass, At Vance, Abstrakt Algebra, Krux, Adagio κλπ) να αναλαμβάνει τα φωνητικά.
Όλα αυτά οδήγησαν -τον Αύγουστο του 2023- στο πλέον πρόσφατο δισκογραφικό πόνημα της μπάντας, το full length album υπό τον τίτλο "Sin". Πρόπερσι (το 2024) εντάχθηκαν στο συγκρότημα ο μπασίστας Sem Christoffel και ο πληκτράς Len van de Laak...
