Παρά την πολύ καλή πορεία των Firewind ο Gus G. δεν αμελεί και την solo καριέρα του. Έχει κυκλοφορήσει έξι "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους, ένα ep ("Live in Budapest - Part 1" 2019) και αρκετά singles. Εν έτει 2026 επέστρεψε δισκογραφικά -μετά από μία πενταετία- με νέα (singles).
"Steel Burner" ο τίτλος του νέου πονήματος του Έλληνα κιθαρίστα και βρίσκεται ήδη εκεί έξω. Τον Κώστα (που έχει αναλάβει σχεδόν τα πάντα) συνδράμουν στο μουσικό του έργο τραγουδιστές όπως η Doro, ο Matt Barlow, ο Ronnie Romero και ο Dino Jelusić.
