Το μακρινό 1997 σχηματίσθηκαν στην Ιταλία οι Symmetry. Ουσιαστικά ήταν το προσωπικό σχήμα του κιθαρίστα των Labÿrinth, Olaf Thörsen. Έναν χρόνο αργότερα και μετά την κυκλοφορία του ομώνυμου demo (από το Ελληνικό μουσικό περιοδικό Metal Invader) μετονομάσθηκαν σε Vision Divine.

Το όνομα προήρθε εν μέρει από τους Labÿrinth (Vision ήταν το προηγούμενο όνομά τους) και εν μέρει από τον (ακυκλοφόρητο) solo δίσκο του Olaf, ο οποίος επρόκειτο να φέρει τον τίτλο "Divine". Οι Vision Divine, στην μεγάλη (χρονικά) καριέρα τους, έχουν κυκλοφορήσει εννέα full length albums, με πλέον πρόσφατο το full length album "Blood and Angels' Tears", το οποίο "βγήκε" προ διετίας.

Ep είναι το νέο τους πόνημα. Φέρει τον τίτλο "A Clockwork Reverie", αποτελείται από τρία νέα τραγούδια (και μία μικρή εισαγωνική σύνθεση) συν τρεις επανεκτελέσεις παλαιότερων και αναμένεται τον επόμενο μήνα. Στην μπάντα έχουν επανέλθει (από πέρυσι) ο τραγουδιστής Michele Luppi και ο πληκτράς Oleg Smirnoff.

Το έδαφος της νέας κυκλοφορίας των Vision Divine προετοιμάζει το μουσικό βίντεο του τραγουδιού "18 (It Feels Like Heaven)", με το δελτίο τύπου να αναφέρει σχετικά:

«“18 (It Feels Like Heaven)” is the first single taken from the new Vision Divine EP “A Clockwork Reverie” to be released on May 22 by Scarlet Records - a man walks through the desert and meets an old stranger who tells him, «I’ve been waiting for you.» - the man doesn’t recall any appointment. The old man explains that they were meant to meet 18 years ago - for reasons unknown, it never happened. So he waited. The man then wakes up. It was all a dream. But as he walks through the city, lost in thought, he sees the same old man standing at a street corner - turning, as if expecting him.»
