Ο όγδοος "ολοκληρωμένος" στουντιακός δίσκος του (των) Dio κυκλοφόρησε στο μεταίχμιο δύο δεκαετιών, δύο αιώνων, δύο χιλιετιών. "Magica" ο τίτλος και "βγήκε" τον Μάρτιο του 2000. Ήταν ο δίσκος που σήμανε την επιστροφή του (κιθαρίστα του album "Dream Evil") Craig Goldy στην μπάντα.
