Τον Νοέμβριο του 2019 κυκλοφορούσε ο δίσκος "Legacy of the Dark Lands". Τυπικά υπό το όνομα Blind Guardian Twilight Orchestra, αλλά ουσιαστικά προσμετρά στην δισκογραφία των Blind Guardian (παρότι στο ηχητικό αποτέλεσμα συνέβαλε μονάχα ο Hansi Kürsch, ενώ ευρύτερη συνεισφορά -σε στίχους, μουσική σύνθεση και παραγωγή- είχε και ο André Olbrich).

Πρόκειται για μία ιδέα που είχαν ο Hansi και ο André από τα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ενενήντα. Τα τραγούδια του δίσκου ηχογραφήθηκαν από το 2009 και το 2019 και τον ρόλο του... συγκροτήματος ανέλαβε η φιλαρμονική ορχήστρα της Πράγας (Prague Philharmonic Orchestra).

In case you have not encountered it before: Hansi is the only band member actually performing on the album, with André being involved as songwriter and producer.

Guitars and drums were replaced with The Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and the actors Norman Ashley and Douglas Fielding provided their skills for the narration.
