Δισκογραφική επιστροφή μετά από σχεδόν έξι έτη για τους Armored Saint. Ο διάδοχος του full length album "Punching the Sky" (Οκτώβριος 2020) και ένατος "ολοκληρωμένος" δίσκος των Αμερικανών metallers φέρει τον τίτλο "Emotion Factory Reset" και αναμένεται τον τελευταίο ανοιξιάτικο μήνα.

Οι Armored Saint δημιουργήθηκαν το μακρινό 1982. Την ίδια χρονιά παρουσιάστηκαν στο μουσικόφιλο κοινό με το "First Demo". Τα τρία από τα πέντε τραγούδια του demo αποτέλεσαν το ομώνυμο ep που "βγήκε" τον Αύγουστο του 1983.

Επόμενα δισκογραφικά βήματα των Αμερικανών metallers ήταν τα singles "Can u deliver" και "March of the Saint", τα οποία προετοίμαζαν το έδαφος για την κυκλοφορία του πρώτου "ολοκληρωμένου" δίσκου τους υπό τον τίτλο "March of the Saint" που κυκλοφόρησε το φθινόπωρο του 1984 και τα υπόλοιπα είναι (heavy metal) ιστορία.

Joey Vera: «Each Armored Saint record, to me, is like a new skin for the band, a different chapter. I don't think we've ever repeated ourselves. Every album has been pretty different from the previous one, a snapshot in time. In 2026, Emotion Factory Reset is where our heads are at.»

John Bush: «When we start coming up with songs, I always say we can do whatever we want. Use all our influences through the years, diverse music that we listen to and love, and let that seep in and bring something new out of us. It leads to something more adventurous.»

Then there are other people who are so good or talented or creative, and they struggle forever.

It has a ferocious riff, cool tempo changes, scorching leads, huge chorus with lots of backing vocals.

We love Queen and The Sweet! It’s a cool breakdown with an epic ending.

Once again, it sounds just like Armored Saint.»
