Τον Zakk Wylde (Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt το κανονικό ονοματεπώνυμό του) τον γνωρίσαμε ως τον αντικαταστάτη του Jake E. Lee στο προσωπικό μουσικό σχήμα του Ozzy Osbourne. Μας συστήθηκε μέσω του (υπέροχου) δίσκου "No Rest for the Wicked" που κυκλοφόρησε το φθινόπωρο του 1988.

Η πρώτη του θητεία στην μπάντα του Ozzy ολοκληρώθηκε το 1992. Επέστρεψε τόσο το 1995 όσο και το 1998 (και η σχέση τους συνεχίσθηκε και στον 21ο αιώνα). Εκείνη την χρονιά (το 1998) δημιούργησε τους Hell's Kitchen, οι οποίοι λίγους μήνες αργότερα μετονομάσθηκαν σε Black Label Society.

Δώδεκα full length albums ο δισκογραφικός τους απολογισμός. Το πλέον πρόσφατο δισκογράφημα των Black Label Society φέρει τον τίτλο "Engines of Demolition" και κυκλοφόρησε προ ημερών (27 Μαρτίου 2026). Τον Zakk Wylde (κιθάρα, φωνητικά) συνδράμουν ο John DeServio (μπάσο), ο Jeff Fabb (τύμπανα) και ο Dario Lorina (κιθάρα). Ο δίσκος ολοκληρώνεται με το τραγούδι "Ozzy's Song", το οποίο είναι ευνόητο σε ποιον αναφέρεται...
