Crimson Glory - 'Chasing The Hydra' (official lyric video)
Δισκογραφική επιστροφή μετά από -ουσιαστικά- 27 χρόνια για τους Crimson Glory. Το τέταρτο full length album των Αμερικανών metallers φέρει τον τίτλο "Chasing the Hydra" και αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει στην "καρδιά" της άνοιξης, με το συγκρότημα να μας λέει σχετικά:
Τους "παλαιούς" Ben Jackson, Jeff Lords και Dana Burnell πλαισιώνουν ο κιθαρίστας Mark Borgmeyer (ex-Steel Angel, ex-Ben Jackson Group, ex-Alias) και ο τραγουδιστής Travis Wills (Infidel Rising), οι οποίοι εντάχθηκαν στην μπάντα το 2023.
Ουσιαστικά η ιστορία των Crimson Glory αρχίζει το μακρινό 1979. Τα πρώτα τρία έτη (1979-1982) ως Pierced Arrow και στην συνέχεια (1982-1983) ως Beowulf για να καταλήξουν (το 1983) στο τωρινό τους όνομα.
Το 1986 κυκλοφόρησε το καταπληκτικό ομώνυμο ντεμπούτο τους και δύο έτη αργότερα το εξωπραγματικό "Transcendence". Ακολούθησε (το 1991) το αμφιλεγόμενο (υπό την έννοια ότι δίχασε τον κόσμο) "Strange and Beautiful" για να κλείσει ο κύκλος των full length album το 1999 με το πολύ καλό "Astronomica".
Το επόμενο έτος (2000) "βγήκε" το ep "War of the Worlds" (είμαι ο μόνος που προτιμώ το "Touch the Sun" στην demo εκδοχή σε σχέση με εκείνη του δίσκου;). Παράλληλα οι Crimson Glory κυκλοφόρησαν επτά singles και δύο box sets...
