Ο δίσκος "Firefly" ήταν ο δέκατος "ολοκληρωμένος" στουντιακός δίσκος των Uriah Heep. Κυκλοφόρησε τον Φεβρουάριο του 1977 μέσω των δισκογραφικών εταιρειών Bronze Records στην Ευρώπη και Warner Bros στην Αμερική. Ήταν το πρώτο δισκογραφικό πόνημα του Βρετανικού συγκροτήματος χωρίς τον (τιτάνα) David Byron, ο οποίος είχε αντικατασταθεί το προηγούμενο έτος από τον John Lawton.

"Ντεμπούτο" στον συγκεκριμένο δίσκο έκανε και ο μπασίστας Trevor Bolder (στην θέση του John Wetton). Ακούμε τους Mick Box (κιθάρα), Ken Hensley (πλήκτρα, κιθάρα, και φωνητικά στο τραγούδι "Firefly"), Lee "The Bear" Kerslake (τύμπανα), Trevor Bolder (μπάσο), John Lawton (φωνητικά)...
