Feanor - 'The Ballad Of Beren And Luthien' (official lyric video)

Full length album νούμερο πέντε για τους Feanor. "Hellhammer" ο τίτλος και κυκλοφόρησε τον προηγούμενο μήνα (19 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025) μέσω της δισκογραφικής εταιρείας No Remorse Records. Εν έτει 2025 η μπάντα εξ Αργεντινής αποτελείται από τους E.V. Martel (κιθάρα), Micke Stark (φωνητικά), Gustavo Acosta (μπάσο), Thilo Hermann (κιθάρα), Diana Boncheva (βιολί).

Η σχέση των Feanor με τους Manowar δεν εξαντλείται στον Martel (διατέλεσε μέλος τους από το 2019 έως το 2022), καθώς στον δίσκο μετέχουν ο Ross the Boss (στο τραγούδι "This One's For You") και ο David Shankle (στο μουσικό κομμάτι "Houses of Fire").

Επίσης ακούμε την φωνή των Wotan (Vanni Ceni) στο τραγούδι "The Flight of the Valkyries", ενώ το χεράκι του στο album έχει βάλει και ο Piet Sielck (των Iron Savior) σε χορωδιακά φωνητικά, κιθάρα, πλήκτρα και σε θέματα τεχνικής φύσεως / ήχου (mixing, mastering).

Οι Feanor δημιουργήθηκαν πριν από 29 έτη (το μακρινό 1996) στην πρωτεύουσα της Αργεντινής (Buenos Aires), εμπνεύστηκαν το όνομά του από λογοτεχνικό χαρακτήρα του J.R.R. Tolkien και έχουν κυκλοφορήσει πέντε "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους, τρία demos, επτά single και ένα ep.

Ultimately, the story illustrates the resilience of the human spirit, suggesting that love can inspire individuals to challenge their destinies.

It serves as a timeless meditation on love, sacrifice, and the search for meaning in an impermanent world. I have been captivated by this story for years and felt a mix of excitement and fear in tackling such an iconic tale for Tolkien fans.

On this one I collaborated closely with EV Martel, and as the song developed, it became clear that more musicians and actors were needed to do justice to the grand vision we had in mind.

To enhance the production, we contacted Alex from the Silmarillion Soundtrack album for the voiceover, Alex is well versed in everything Tolkien related and nothing needed to be explained to him.

Camilla Stark (Mike’s sister) beautifully portrayed Lúthien, we felt his natural bond with his brother would transpire something unique into the song, while Alexandros Delialis, a professional baritone from Greece, brought depth to the role of Thingol.

Mike took on the role of Beren with total naturality and being himself an avid reader he was ready to go from the day one on this project. In this track, I play piano, bass, oud, and nylon guitars, the amount of layers of instruments, music, sound landscapes, acting voices, instruments, etc was enormous, but one more time Piet expertly combines all the elements to create a story meant to be listened to with eyes closed.»
