Μία δεκαετία πίσω μας γυρίζουν οι Axemaster. Το διήμερο 23 και 24 Οκτωβρίου 2015 πραγματοποιήθηκε (στο New Castle, Delaware) το μουσικό φεστιβάλ Hollowfest με διοργανωτές τους Sleepy Hollow.

Μεταξύ των συγκροτημάτων που εμφανίσθηκαν ήταν και οι Axemaster, οι οποίοι μας παρουσιάζουν βίντεο με την ζωντανή" απόδοσή τους στο τραγούδι "Sanitys Requiem" (από τον δίσκο τους "Overture to Madness" που κυκλοφόρησε την ίδια χρονιά).

Όσοι ασχολούνται με το underground US metal ίσως τους θυμούνται. Οι Axemaster ιδρύθηκαν πριν από σαράντα χρόνια, το 1985, στις Η.Π.Α. (Kent, Ohio). Παραμένουν ενεργοί μέχρι τις ημέρες μας όχι πάντα με το ίδιο όνομα (1991-1995 ως The Awakening, 2008-2010 ως Inner Terror).

Δίσκους ολοκληρωμένους έχουν βγάλει τέσσερις: "Blessing in the Skies" (Ιούνιος 1987), "Death Before Dishonor" (Ιανουάριος 1990), "Overture to Madness" (Μάρτιος 2015) και "Crawling Chaos" (Νοέμβριος 2017) συν έξι demos - promos, τέσσερα singles και μία συλλογή.
