Οι Iron Void δημιουργήθηκαν πριν από 27 έτη, το φθινόπωρο του 1998, στην Αγγλία, αρέσκονται σε αργόσυρτα (doom metal) ηχητικά μονοπάτια, μας συστήνονται κάπως έτσι:

Iron Void was originally formed by Jonathan 'Sealey' Seale in November 1998 in order to create an old-school Doom Metal band worshipping at the altar of doom legends such as Black Sabbath, Saint Vitus, Pentagram, Trouble, The Obsessed & Cathedral with a strong NWOBHM influence

...και έχουν κυκλοφορήσει τέσσερις "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους ("Iron Void" 2014, "Doomsday" 2015, "Excalibur" 2018, "IV" 2023), ένα live album, ένα ep και δύο singles.

Εστιάζουμε στον δίσκο "Excalibur", ο οποίος κυκλοφόρησε τον Οκτώβριο του 2018 από την δισκογραφική εταιρεία Shadow Kingdom Records, αποτελείται από εννέα τραγούδια και (όπως "μαρτυρά" και ο τίτλος) μας αφηγείται την ιστορία - μύθο του βασιλιά Αρθούρου, των Ιπποτών της στρογγυλής τραπέζης και του σπαθιού Excalibur σε doom metal ρυθμούς...
