Το μακρινό 1984 ο Jack Starr ψάχνει το επόμενο μουσικό του βήμα μετά το "διαζύγιο" με τους Virgin Steele (με την μπάντα που εκείνος δημιούργησε δηλαδή). Δεν έχασε χρόνο. "Out of the Darkness" ο τίτλος του πρώτου προσωπικού του δίσκου, ο οποίος κυκλοφόρησε το 1984 από την δισκογραφική εταιρεία Passport Records.
Εν συνεχεία δημιούργησε τους Jack Starr's Burning Starr (κατά το Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow ή το Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force). Με τους Burning Starr κυκλοφόρησε οκτώ full length albums, με πλέον πρόσφατο το "Souls of the Innocent" που "βγήκε" προ τριετίας.
Στην παρούσα ανάρτηση όμως θα εστιάσουμε στον δίσκο "Stand Your Ground", ο οποίος κυκλοφόρησε τον Αύγουστο του 2017 σε cd και διπλό βινύλιο και παρακολουθούμε το lyric video του τραγουδιού "Stronger than Steel". Ακούμε τον Todd Michael Hall (των Riot) στα φωνητικά, τον Jack Starr στην κιθάρα, τον Ned Meloni στον μπάσο και τον (άλλοτε drummer των Manowar) Rhino στα τύμπανα...
