Fer de Lance - 'Fires on the Mountainside' (album stream)

Κάπως έτσι μας συστήνονται οι Fer de Lance. Πρόκειται για Αμερικάνικη μπάντα επικού heavy metal αποτελούμενη από μέλη (πρώην ή νυν) συγκροτημάτων όπως οι Moros Nyx, Professor Emeritus, Satan's Hallow, Midnight Dice και Smoulder.

Ουσιαστικά δημιουργήθηκαν όταν ο τραγουδιστής MP (ή MP Papai) και ο drummer Rüsty (ή Ian Weaver Sugierski ή Ian "Pit Viper" Sugierski) αποφάσισαν να "βάλουν στον πάγο" τους Moros Nyx και να αναβάλουν την κυκλοφορία του δεύτερου δίσκου τους για να ασχοληθούν με πιο "βαρύ" και "σκοτεινό" metal.

Το αποτέλεσμα της προσπάθειας το ακούσαμε στο τεσσάρων τραγουδιών ep υπό τον τίτλο "Colossus" που κυκλοφόρησε προ πενταετίας και μας "άνοιξε" την όρεξη για "κανονικό δίσκο. "The Hyperborean" τιτλοφορείται και "βγήκε" δύο χρόνια αργότερα. Πλέον βρίσκεται εκεί έξω και ο διάδοχός του. "Fires on the Mountainside" και κυκλοφόρησε προχθές...
