Τον Φεβρουάριο του 1985 κυκλοφορούσε (μετά από επτά demos) το ντεμπούτο των Onslaught "Power from Hell". Φέτος οι Άγγλοι metallers συμπληρώνουν σαράντα χρόνια στην δισκογραφία και το γιορτάζουν με επετειακή κυκλοφορία. "Origins of Aggression" ο τίτλος και θα κυκλοφορήσει τον επόμενο μήνα σε διπλό cd και σε διπλό βινύλιο μέσω της δισκογραφική εταιρείας Reigning Phoenix Music. Ο πρώτος δίσκος θα αποτελείται από επανηχογραφήσεις δέκα τραγουδιών τους και ο δεύτερος από (δώδεκα) διασκευές που έχουν επιχειρήσει κατά καιρούς...

Δελτίο τύπου: «"Origins Of Aggression" will be a very special double album to celebrate the formation of the band and the 40th anniversary of Onslaught's debut album "Power From Hell". "Origins Of Aggression" will contain a total of 22 tracks in a double album format.

Disc 1 contains ten re-recordings of the most important Onslaught tracks from the early years, while disc 2 consists of twelve punk and metal cover versions that have made Onslaught the band they are today: Songs that were jammed during rehearsals, songs that inspired the musicians to play an instrument. A fascinating musical journey through the band's origins.»

«This new recording of the title track from the album of the same name, has completely blown me away.. It's like night and day compared to the original version. It's common knowledge that i've never been a huge fan of the album overall.

Don't get me wrong i love the songs but at the time it just wasn't an Onslaught album in terms of the production / vibe and everything else that surrounded this particular release.

It's always been my dream to re-record the whole album and to finally make it sound like a real Onslaught record, the way it should have sounded first time around. Here it is! Tons of aggression and anger, a real heavy Thrash song with all the necessary components. I hope you dig the new lease of life this track now has, as much as we do!»
