Το τραγούδι "Winds of Thor" πρωτοκυκλοφόρησε το 1981 στο δεύτερο demo των Warlord ("Demo II") με τον Damien King I (τον Jack Rucker δηλαδή) στα φωνητικά.
Ο περισσότερος κόσμος το γνώρισε στην εκτέλεση των Lordian Guard μέσα από το ομώνυμο ντεμπούτο τους (γνωστό και ως "Woe to the Inhabitants of the Earth...") του 1995.
Για όσους δεν το... εμπέδωσαν υπάρχει και ο δίσκος της επανένωσης των Warlord "Rising Out of the Ashes" το 2002 (με τον Joacim Cans στο μικρόφωνο). Ο Mark Zonder μας λέει για το εν λόγω μουσικό κομμάτι:
Αν νομίζετε ότι... ξεμπερδέψατε με το "Winds of Thor" υπάρχει και η επανηχογραφημένη (χωρίς τον Tsamis και με τον Giles Lavery στα φωνητικά) εκδοχή του (η αποκαλούμενη Thomas Mergler mix) στην συλλογή με τον τίτλο - σιδηρόδρομο "From The Ashes To The Archives - The Hot Pursuit Continues", η οποία κυκλοφόρησε στα τελειώματα του περασμένου καλοκαιριού (23 Αυγούστου 2024) μέσω της δισκογραφικής εταιρείας High Roller Records...
