Το 1988, λίγους μήνες μετά την κυκλοφορία του ντεμπούτου των Pestilence ("Malleus Maleficarum"), ο κιθαρίστας της μπάντας Randy Meinhard δημιούργησε τους Sacrosanct, οι οποίοι παρέμειναν ενεργοί μέχρι το 1994 κυκλοφορώντας ένα demo, τρεις full length δίσκους και συμμετείχαν στην συλλογή "This Stuff's 2 Loud 4 U" μαζί με τους Haggard, Torchure, Panacea, Slack Suckers, Dancin' Dead.
Προ οκταετίας η μπάντα επαναδραστηριοποιήθηκε και "έβγαλε" ένα ακόμη album ("Necropolis" 2018) και ένα single ("Avenging Angel"). Εν έτει 2025 οι Sacrosanct επέστρεψαν δισκογραφικά με το πέμπτο full length album, το οποίο φέρει τον τίτλο "Kidron" και κυκλοφορεί ήδη. «This melancholic and emotional track is very personal for the band and especially their band-leader Randy Meinhard. It is dedicated to Mario, their former bass player, who sadly passed away far too soon and to all people who also mourn losses.
