Την πρωτακούσαμε το 2008 στο τραγούδι των Dreamtale "No Angels No More" και στους Revolution Renaissance του Timo Tolkki (χορωδιακά φωνητικά στο μουσικό κομμάτι "Revolution Renaissance").

Ακολούθησαν το 2011 οι Amorphis ("The Beginning of Times") και οι Battle Beast (δεύτερα φωνητικά στα τραγούδια "Armageddon Clan", "Show Me How to Die"). Ο λόγος για την τραγουδίστρια και ηθοποιό Netta Laurenne, η οποία προ δεκαετίας δημιούργησε τους Smackbound.

Η Noora Louhimo μας έρχεται επίσης από την Φινλανδία. Έγινε κυρίως γνωστή μέσω των Battle Beast, των οποίων την τραγουδίστρια αποτελεί από το 2012. Παράλληλα έχει εμφανισθεί -ως καλεσμένη (guest)- σε πληθώρα δίσκων συγκροτημάτων όπως οι Grave Digger, οι HammerFall, οι Magnus Karlsson's Free Fall, οι Crystal Ball, οι Heart Healer, οι Black Sun κλπ.

Προ εξαετίας, το 2019, οι δύο Φινλανδέζες τραγουδίστριες ένωσαν τις δυνάμεις τους δημιουργώντας το συγκρότημα Laurenne / Louhimo. Το ντεμπούτο τους ("The Reckoning") κυκλοφόρησε προ τετραετίας και ο διάδοχός του βρίσκεται προ των πυλών.

"Falling Through Stars" ο τίτλος, αποτελείται από ένδεκα τραγούδια και αναμένεται (σε cd, βινύλιο και σε ψηφιακή μορφή) στην "καρδιά" της άνοιξης (18 Απριλίου 2025) μέσω της δισκογραφικής εταιρείας Frontiers Music srl...

Δελτίο τύπου: «One of the most exciting new projects on Frontiers Music Srl, created by the label president Serafino Perugino, the collaboration between powerhouse Finnish vocalists Noora Louhimo (Battle Beast) and Netta Laurenne (Smackbound), under the banner Laurenne / Louhimo, is finally back with the second album “Falling Through Stars”.

This second chapter deliver a full-force metal assaults with the power to blow you away with rasps and soaring screams as well as delicate acoustic moments. Laurenne / Louhimo offer listeners a mix of heavy metal and hard rock tracks that explores the variety of the genre, while maintaining a straightforward, easy-to-enjoy appeal.

“Falling Through Stars” has shades of all eras of Rainbow here and there as well as Judas Priest and many other 80’s Icons of the style, all these influences are expertly filtered into Netta and Noora way of composing music.

The idea about the possible collaboration between Netta and Noora came to reality once the pandemic started and cleared out calendars for both the artists, it felt like a perfect time to start the project and share all the common things they have, from the same original town to the similar idols and influences.

The main highlights of the album are, naturally, the vocal melodies created and shared by Netta Laurenne and Noora Louhimo.

The album has been once again produced at the Sonic Pump studio under the guidance of Nino Laurenne (that also played the guitars and contributed to the songwriting) and the production is clear, powerful and gives the deserved value to the two stars here.»
