Το τραγούδι "Lucille" (ένα από πλέον γνωστά στο ευρύτερο φάσμα της rock μουσικής) αποτελεί δημιουργία του Albert Collins και του Richard Wayne Penniman (του Little Richard δηλαδή). Ηχογραφήθηκε το καλοκαίρι του 1956 και κυκλοφόρησε τον χειμώνα του επόμενου έτους (Φεβρουάριος 1957) ως single (με το τραγούδι "Send Me Some Lovin’" στην δεύτερη πλευρά του βινυλίου).

Το τραγούδι το τίμησε πληθώρα καλλιτεχνών στο διάβα των ετών. Μεταξύ αυτών και οι Deep Purple που το χρησιμοποιούσας ως encore στις συναυλίες στα 70ς. Έχει αποτυπωθεί μάλιστα και δισκογραφικά σε κάποιες από τις επανεκδόσεις του ("μυθικού") live album "Made in Japan".

Στην επανένωσή τους μάλιστα, το 1984, περιοδεύοντας στην Αυστραλία απέδωσαν το "Lucille" με τον George Harrison (των Beatles βεβαίως - βεβαίως) να τους συντροφεύει επί σκηνής. Το εν λόγω μουσικό κομμάτι το απέδωσε ο Ian Gillan και στην προσωπική του καριέρα. Το βρίσκουμε (ως b-side) στο "No Laughing In Heaven / Lucille", σε επανκδόσεις προσωπικών του δίσκων και στην συλλογή του 1986 "What I Did On My Vacation".
