Subfire - 'Define the Sinner' (official album stream)

Προ εικοσαετίας, το 2004, σχηματίσθηκαν στην Λιβαδειά οι Subfire. Το μουσικό τους ύφος ήταν (σε πολύ γενικές γραμμές) operatic / symphonic metal με γυναικεία φωνητικά.

Προ τριετίας η σοπράνο Κατερίνα Κώτσου αποχώρησε από την μπάντα με τον αντικαταστάτη της να ακούει στο όνομα Γιάννης "Veandok" Γεωργάνος και το συγκρότημα να κινείται σε πιο heavy / power μουσικά μονοπάτια.

Μας συστήνονται κάπως έτσι: «Subfire is a project that begins its journey in Levadha, Greece back in 2004. After many gigs and line-up changes the band found the sound that reflects the quality of the songs, heavy / power metal with strong heavy and epic riffs.»

Οι Subfire έχουν κυκλοφορήσει δύο demos (2007 και 2009), ένα ep ("Vanished Hopes" 2013) και έναν "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο ("Define the Sinner" 2021), με τον διάδοχό του να βρίσκεται προ των πυλών. Φέρει τον τίτλο "Blood Omen" και κυκλοφόρησε προ ημερών (17 Μαΐου 2024).

Στην παρούσα ανάρτηση όμως θα εστιάσουμε στο (ουσιαστικά) ντεμπούτο τους, το οποίο σας παρουσιάζουμε προς ακρόαση...
