The Beauty and the Beast...

Κάπου στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ενενήντα σχηματίσθηκαν στην Ιταλία οι Prometeo. Το 1996 μετονομάσθηκαν σε Shadows of Steel και συνεχίζουν μέχρι τις ημέρες μας με ένα μεγάλο διάλειμμα (εννέα ετών, από το 2002 μέχρι το 2011). Πυρήνας της μπάντα ο Wild Steel (δηλαδή ο Andrea De Stefanis).

Πρόκειται για power metal συγκρότημα το οποίο έχει κυκλοφορήσει ένα demo, τρία full length albums και ισάριθμα EPs. Πλέον πρόσφατο δισκογράφημά τους το ep "Twilight II" (το πρώτο μέρος είχε "βγει" το 1988) που κυκλοφόρησε πρόπερσι (Φεβρουάριος 2022) σε διπλό cd και σε ψηφιακή μορφή από την Underground Symphony.

Το πρώτο cd περιλαμβάνει τέσσερα τραγούδια των Shadows of Steel ("Call of Shadows", "Broken Mirror", "Shine", "Power of Dreams") και το δεύτερο διασκευές σε τραγούδια των Angel Witch ("Angel Witch"), Stormwitch ("The Beauty and The Beast"), Heavy Load ("Dark Nights") και Jag Panzer ("Shadow Thief")...
