Οι Blind Assassin μας έρχονται από τις ΗΠΑ. Μπάντα επικού heavy metal, η οποία δραστηριοποιήθηκε στο δεύτερο μισό της δεκαετίας του ογδόντα. Ένα μόλις demo τριών τραγουδιών σε κασέτα το 1986 ήταν ο δισκογραφικός τους απολογισμός.
Προ δεκαετίας (τον Δεκέμβριο του 2014) η δισκογραφική εταιρεία Cult Metal Classics συγκέντρωσε όλο το υλικό που υπήρχε και κυκλοφόρησε την συλλογή "Put to the Sword" που "βγήκε" σε cd συν dvd. Προ μηνός (12 Ιανουαρίου 2024) η συλλογή (μόνο το υλικό που υπήρχε στο cd) κυκλοφόρησε σε βινύλιο (σε 350 αντίτυπα).
