Οι Stygian Crown μας έρχονται από τις ΗΠΑ. Doom metal συγκρότημα, το οποίο αναφέρει ως επιρροές μπάντες όπως οι Candlemass, Black Sabbath, Solitude Aeturnus και μας συστήνονται κάπως έτσι: «Stygian Crown is a doom metal band from Southern California that pays homage to bands like Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus and Black Sabbath.»

Προ εξαετίας οι Αμερικάνοι doomsters κυκλοφόρησαν το τριών τραγουδιών demo "Through Divine Rite" και το καλοκαίρι του 2020 το επίσημο ντεμπούτο τους, το οποίο φέρει ως τίτλο το όνομα του συγκροτήματος. Ο διάδοχός του βρίσκεται προ των πυλών. Τιτλοφορείται "Funeral For A King" και αναμένεται στα τελειώματα του επόμενου μήνα (23 Φεβρουαρίου 2024) μέσω της δισκογραφικής εταιρείας Cruz del Sur Music...
