Το τραγούδι "Leper Messiah" το γνωρίσαμε μέσα από τον δίσκο των Metallica "Master of Puppets" (το δεύτερο τραγούδι της δεύτερης πλευράς του βινυλίου) ο οποίος κυκλοφόρησε την άνοιξη του 1986 και έχει γνωρίσει δεκάδες επανεκδόσεις με πλέον πρόσφατη την προπέρσινη (Ιανουάριος 2021) σε βινύλιο από την Blackened Recordings (την εταιρεία των Metallica δηλαδή).

Σύμφωνα με την επίσημη ιστοσελίδα της Αμερικάνικης μπάντας το "Leper Messiah" έχει παρουσιασθεί "ζωντανά" 124 φορές. Η πρώτη ήταν στις 20 Αυγούστου 1987 στο Λονδίνο και η πλέον πρόσφατη στις 25 Αυγούστου 2023 στο Λος Άντζελες. Στην παρούσα ανάρτηση θα παρακολουθήσουμε τους Metallica να το αποδίδουν live στο Μοντρεάλ του Καναδά (Stade Olympique) προ ημερών (11 Αυγούστου 2023)...

ΥΓ. Αναρωτιέμαι αν υπάρχει κάποιος που να έχει την πλήρη δισκογραφία των Metallica. Και δεν αναφέρομαι τόσο στους στουντιακούς δίσκους (full length και EPs) ή ακόμη και στα 53!!! singles. Εννοώ τα... 689!!! "επίσημα" live albums!!! Βέβαια τα περισσότερα κυκλοφορούν μόνο σε ψηφιακή μορφή, αλλά και πάλι...
