Δύο μουσικοί που έχουν περάσει από τους Accept, ο κιθαρίστας Herman Frank (βλ. επίσης Victory, ex-Sinner κλπ) και ο τραγουδιστής David Reece (συνάμα ex-Bonfire, ex-Malice, John Steel κλπ) ένωσαν τις δυνάμεις τους και σχημάτισαν τους Iron Allies.

Μαζί τους ο Ρώσος κιθαρίστας Mike Pesin (Herman Frank, Victory κλπ), ο μπασίστας Malte Burkert (David Reece, Victory) και ο Ιταλός drummer Francesco Jovino (David Reece, Jorn, ex-Primal Fear, ex-UDO, ex-Sinner, ex-Edge of Forever, ex-Sunstorm, ex-Hardline).

Το αποτέλεσμα της συνεργασίας όλων αυτών των μουσικών το ακούσαμε τον περασμένο Οκτώβριο με την κυκλοφορία του ντεμπούτου δίσκου των Iron Allies υπό τον τίτλο "Blood In Blood Out". Όπως λέει χαρακτηριστικά ο Herman Frank:

«This record cannot be compared to anything David or I have produced in our past. It’s at the same time standing on its own, while sounding like it came from the one and the same mold. You could say: the two of us have sought and found each other!»
