Battle Axe: Αμερικάνικο heavy metal συγκρότημα. Δημιουργήθηκε το μακρινό 1979, δραστηριοποιήθηκε την δεκαετία του ογδόντα, κυκλοφόρησε έναν δίσκο και... εξαφανίσθηκε (ενώ το 1987 είχε ξεκινήσει η διαδικασία για τον δεύτερο δίσκο τους)!

Το μοναδικό τους album τιτλοφορείται "We're on the Attack" "βγήκε" το 1986 σε βινύλιο, κυκλοφόρησε το καλοκαίρι του 2017 από την Heaven and Hell Records (σε cd και ψηφιακή μορφή) και τον Απρίλιο του 2019 από την Underground Power Records (σε βινύλιο).

Παράλληλα η Heaven and Hell Records κυκλοφόρησε προ εξαετίας (τον Φεβρουάριο του 2017 σε ψηφιακή μορφή και τον Ιούνιο του 2017 σε cd) και την συλλογή "Long Way Home"...

Δελτίο τύπου: «In 1987 Battle Axe return to the studio to record a follow up full-length to their debut 'We're on the Attack', what resulted was a 4-song EP. Letter the band would go back into the studio and record a few more songs none of which would ever be released until this compilation.»
