Malacoda: δαίμονας που συναντάμε στην "Θεία Κωμωδία" (a.k.a. "Κόλαση) του Δάντη Αλιγκέρι. Το όνομα αποτέλεσε την έμπνευση για μία μπάντα από τον Καναδά. Οι Malacoda δημιουργήθηκαν πριν από εννέα έτη και έχουν κυκλοφορήσει δύο "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους ("Malacoda" 2015 και "Restless Dreams" (2018) συν τέσσερα EPs.

Το τραγούδι "Our Special Place" το γνωρίσαμε μέσα από το album "Restless Dreams" (το επιλογικό μουσικό κομμάτι) που κυκλοφόρησε το φθινόπωρο του 2018 και υπερβαίνει τα δώδεκα λεπτά σε διάρκεια. Εν έτει 2023 οι Malacoda μας παρουσιάζουν μία νέα εκδοχή του εν λόγω τραγουδιού, μόλις τριάμισι λεπτά σε διάρκεια (ουσιαστικά είναι μόνο το πρώτο μέρος του αρχικού τραγουδιού) και μας λένε σχετικά:

«We were looking for tracks we could add to our live set and we all really liked the original Our Special Place- but it being over 12 minutes long meant we'd have to get rid of other songs that we enjoyed playing.

We took our favourite part of the track, the first section of the song, and turned it into it's own track. We re-recorded everything and gave it a bit more production value- we can't wait to play this one live.»
