Dogbane - 'Blood In The Snow' (official audio)

Οι Dogbane μας έρχονται από την Βόρεια Καρολίνα. Δημιουργήθηκαν πριν από μία ντουζίνα έτη και αυτοχαρακτηρίζονται κάπως έτσι: «the band is a combination of Traditional / NWOBHM inspired Heavy Metal with a touch of Doom».

Αναφέρουν ως επιρροές μπάντες όπως οι Pentagram, Trouble, Black Sabbath, The Obsessed, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Thin Lizzy, Motorhead κλπ. Έχουν κυκλοφορήσει τρεις "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους, ισάριθμα singles και ένα ep.

Στεκόμαστε στο πλέον πρόσφατο full length album των Αμερικανών metallers ("Idylls of Woe" Ιούνιος 2019) και ακούμε το τραγούδι "Blood In The Snow", το οποίο:

«The song is based on the true story of the Lawson family and the familicide which took place in Germanton, North Carolina, United States on December 25, 1929, in which sharecropper Charles Davis "Charlie" Lawson murdered his wife and six of his seven children. The massacre ended with Charles taking his own life.»
