Οι Run for cover είναι ένα συγκρότημα από την Φινλανδία. Μπάντα διασκευών (όπως μαρτυρά και το όνομά της). Αποτελείται από την τραγουδίστρια (και ηθοποιό) Netta Laurenne, τον κιθαρίστα των Wintersun, δύο μέλη των Tracedawn και τον drummer των Stratovarius.

Παράλληλα η μπάντα φέρει (και) το όνομα Smackbound δημιουργώντας το δικό της μουσικό έργο. Δύο ονόματα, ίδιο συγκρότημα. Στην παρούσα ανάρτηση θα παρακολουθήσουμε το βίντεο με την διασκευή των Run For Cover στο κλασικό τραγούδι του / των Dio "Don't Talk to Strangers" (το οποίο γνωρίσαμε μέσα από τον δίσκο "Holy Diver")...

Δελτίο τύπου: «Smackbound is a metal band from Finland. The band's story started back in 2015 when singer Netta Laurenne founded the group. Guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari (Wintersun) was the first to join the lines and soon followed Rolf Pilve (Stratovarius + Wintersun), Vili Itäpelto (Tracedawn) and Tuomas Yli-Jaskari (Tracedawn). The band started writing their own songs and founded also a cover band "Run for Cover" to be able to play together right away. They have played a lot of gigs with RfC and this way have been getting ready for Smackbound's launch.»
