A Sound of Thunder - 'The Krimson Kult' (album stream)

Το συγκρότημα A Sound of Thunder δημιουργήθηκε το 2008 στις ΗΠΑ. Εμπνεύσθηκε το όνομά του από το ομότιτλο διήγημα του Ray Bradbury και μας παρουσιάζεται κάπως έτσι:

«A Sound of Thunder is an American heavy metal band with powerful female vocals. We are 100% independent and fan-funded. We are the creators of music, animation & comics based on our characters Udoroth and the Queen of Hell.

We recorded the viral heavy metal version of "Els Segadors", the national anthem of Catalonia, and we have recorded music based on Valiant Entertainment comics & characters. Everything we do is made possible by our fans, the LEGION OF THUNDER! THAT'S YOU!»

Οι A Sound of Thunder έχουν κυκλοφορήσει εννέα (9) "ολοκληρωμένους" δίσκους συν οκτώ (8) EPs και μπόλικα singles. Το πλέον πρόσφατο δισκογραφικό τους πόνημα τιτλοφορείται "The Krimson Kult" και "βγήκε" τον περασμένο Μάιο...

Δελτίο τύπου: «A Sound of Thunder's ninth album The Krimson Kult was conceived during the global pandemic of 2020 and 2021. All the emotions from that time period have been channeled into this dark, heavy and dynamic album.

The lyrics were inspired by real life events, but interpreted through the lexicon of heavy metal, which means there are still monsters, cults, wizards, and more! Only this time, they're all real.

Sonically the album treads new ground for ASoT, utilizing vintage instruments & gear and tuned-down guitars to capture a classic vibe that harkens back to the most classic metal and hard rock of the '70s and early '80s.»
