Είκοσι χρόνια πίσω μας γυρίζει ο Gus G με την επανακυκλοφορία (με αφορμή τα εικοστά "γενέθλια") του ντεμπούτου δίσκου των Firewind "Between Heaven and Hell" σε διπλό βινύλιο, το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε το καλοκαίρι του 2002.

Στα δεκατρία τραγούδια της αρχικής έκδοσης του δίσκου υπάρχει και το ορχηστρικό (instrumental) "End of an Era", το οποίο αποτίει φόρο τιμής στον Chuck Schuldiner και αρχικά υπήρχε μόνο στην Ιαπωνική έδοση του album.

Ο Gus G ξεκίνησε τους Firewind το μακρινό 1998 (εννέα full length albums). Παράλληλα "τρέχει" και την προσωπική του καριέρα (πέντε "ολοκληρωμένοι" στουντιακοί δίσκοι), ενώ τον έχουμε ακούσει και σε δίσκους του Ozzy Osbourne, των Dream Evil, των Mystic Prophecy, των Nightrage κλπ.
