Δίσκο με διασκευές κυκλοφόρησε στις αρχές της άνοιξης ο Μιχάλης Γαλιάτσος (aka Mike G). Τιτλοφορείται "The Greek 80’s Metal Legacy" και όπως μαρτυρά ο τίτλος του πρόκειται για αφιέρωμα στο Ελληνικό 80ς heavy metal.

Ο Μιχάλης λέει για το εγχείρημα:

«As a huge fan of the Greek 80’s metal scene, I had a dream from an early age, to make covers of songs of this magical era, youth and innocence. Below you can hear my humble tribute to the pioneers of that era... With undivided love and respect to all of you! Whether here on earth or high in the sky, thank you!»

Ακούμε την προσέγγισή του στο τραγούδι των Flames "False Alarm", το οποίο γνωρίσαμε στον δίσκο των Ελλήνων thrashers "Made in Hell" (το τελευταίο μουσικό κομμάτι της πρώτης πλευράς του βινυλίου) που κυκλοφόρησε το 1985.

Στην διασκευή του τραγουδιού συμμετέχει και ο Θωμάς Τραμπούρας (Thomas Trampouras). Πρόκειται για τον κιθαρίστα των Blood Covered στο ep "Winterhawk" (1991), μέλος των Flames, των Darkest Color και των Repentless (μπάντα διασκευών σε τραγούδια των Slayer).

Ο Mike G. είναι ενεργός στα Ελληνικά (κι όχι μόνο) heavy metal δρώμενα από τα τέλη της δεκαετίας του ογδόντα μέχρι και τις ημέρες μας δραστηριοποιούμενος μέσα από μπάντες όπως οι Nightfall, οι Snowblind ή οι Blind Justice...
