Στα πρώτα χρόνια της καριέρας τους μας γυρίζουν οι Epica με την συλλογή "We Still Take You with Us - The Early Years" που θα κυκλοφορήσει στις αρχές του φθινοπώρου (2 Σεπτεμβρίου 2022) σε τρεις εκδόσεις: CD, CD + blu-ray + DVD Earbook και Vinyl (Exclusive Limited LP Box). Οι Epica "υπάρχουν" στο μουσικό σύμπαν από τις αρχές της χιλιετίας. Σχηματίσθηκαν από τον Mark Jansen το 2002 όταν αποχώρησε από τους After Forever. Αρχικά (για έναν χρόνο) ως Sahara Dust (με την Helena Iren Michaelsen στα φωνητικά) και στην συνέχεια ως Epica.
