Το συγκρότημα The Dead Daisies δημιουργήθηκε πριν από δέκα έτη στην Αυστραλία και μπορεί κάλλιστα να χαρακτηρισθεί ως supergroup με βάση το βιογραφικό των μελών - μουσικών (πρώην και νυν) που το απαρτίζουν. Μουσικοί που έχουν θητεύσει σε συγκροτήματα όπως Whitesnake, Dio, Thin Lizzy, Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol κλπ. Η μπάντα περιγράφει την μουσική της ως:
