Το "The Spirit of Radio" αποτελεί ίσως το πο πιο αναγνωρίσιμο τραγούδι των Rush. Πρόκειται για το εναρκτήριο τραγούδι του δίσκου "Permanent Waves" που κυκλοφόρησε τον Ιανουάριο του 1980, ενώ "βγήκε" και αυτόνομα τον Δεκέμβριο της προηγούμενης χρονιάς (ως promo) και τον Φλεβάρη του 1980 (ως single) με το "Circumstances" (στην Αμερικάνικη έκδοση) και το "The Trees" (Αγγλική version) στην δεύτερη πλευρά του βινυλίου.
Στην παρούσα ανάρτηση θα απολαύσουμε την Καναδική μπάντα να το αποδίδει "ζωντανά" το 2007 στο πλαίσιο της περιοδείας για την προώθηση του δίσκου "Snakes and Arrows", από την οποία προέκυψε και το album "Snakes & Arrows Live" που κυκλοφόρησε την επόμενη χρονιά (Απρίλιος 2008)...
