Το καλοκαίρι του 1995 ο Ian Parry κυκλοφορούσε τον τρίτο προσωπικό του δίσκο υπό τον τίτλο "Thru' the Looking Glass". Εκεί μέσα υπήρχε και το τραγούδι "No More War".

Σύνθεση του Ian Parry και του Σέρβου κιθαρίστα Misha Calvin, η οποία αποτελούσε διαμαρτυρία για τον (τότε) πόλεμο στην Βοσνία. 27 έτη αργότερα ο Ολλανδός τραγουδιστής, συνθέτης και παραγωγός παρουσιάζει το lyric video βίντεο του τραγουδιού θεωρώντας ότι ταιριάζει "γάντι" με όσα γίνονται στην Ουκρανία.

Γράφει χαρακτηριστικά ο Ian: «"No More War" was originally written together with Misha Calvin as a protest song against the Bosnian war & released in 1995. Now the victim this time is Ukraine & all the innocent people. I made this lyric video to pay homage to all Ukrainian's. BLESS YOU ALL.»

Ο Ian Parry είναι από τις παλιές "καραβάνες" του χώρου. Τραγουδιστής, συνθέτης και παραγωγός εξ' Ολλανδίας. Ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του από τους Hammerhead, συνέχισε με τους Vengeance. Την (όποια) αναγνωρισιμότητά του την οφείλει κυρίως στους Elegy.

Συν τις άλλοις έχει τραγουδήσει σε Consortium Project, Eternity's End, Crystal Tears, Rock Emporium κλπ και ως guest στους Ayreon, στους Royal Hunt, στους Mob Rules κ.ά. Παράλληλα "τρέχει" και την προσωπική του καριέρα έχοντας κυκλοφορήσει πέντε "ολοκληρωμένους" solo δίσκους (συν μία συλλογή)...
