Οι Witch Cross μας έρχονται από την Δανία. Δημιουργήθηκαν το 1979 ως Blood Eagle. Τρία χρόνια αργότερα (και μετά την κυκλοφορία ενός single) μετονομάσθηκαν σε Witch Cross. Διατηρήθηκαν "εν ζωή" μέχρι το 1986 κυκλοφορώντας έναν "ολοκληρωμένο" δίσκο, τέσσερα demos και ένα single.
Επανήλθαν προ ενδεκαετίας με δισκογραφικό απολογισμό της δεύτερης περιόδου δύο full length albums και ισάριθμες συλλογές. Το πλέον δισκογραφικό τους πόνημα φέρει τον τίτλο "Angel of Death" και "βγήκε" το περασμένο καλοκαίρι...
