The Unity feat. Sascha Grammel - "Close to Crazy" (Live)

I am the god of the aimless
I am the lord of no kind
I talk to myself - I'm the nameless
I am the master of the blind

Close to crazy - I don't care
Numb and lazy - but I like it here
Trapped in toyland - join in, too
Close to crazy
But not as mad as you
Not as half as mad as you

I am a spark in the darkness
I am the wrong Mr. Right
The King of my shell - I'm regardless
I am a nothing in disguise

Close to crazy - I don't care
Numb and lazy - but I like it here
Trapped in toyland - join in, too
Close to crazy
But not as mad as you
Not as half as mad as you

Close to crazy - I don't care
Numb and lazy - but I like it here
Trapped in toyland - join in, too
Close to crazy
But not as mad as you
Not as half as mad as you
Close to crazy
But not as mad as you
Not as half as mad as you

Ο δίσκος των The Unity "The Devil You Know - Live"
Το πρώτο live album στην καριέρα τους είναι έτοιμοι να κυκλοφορήσουν οι The Unity. Φέρει τον τίτλο "The Devil You Know - Live" κι αναμένεται στα μέσα του επόμενου μήνα. Το έδαφος προετοιμάζει το βίντεο του τραγουδιού "Close to Crazy", για το οποίο η Γερμανική μπάντα μας λέει:

«Yeah!!! Today we´re all Close to Crazy as our new video and single is finally out!!! The video features the German puppet comedy superstar Sascha Grammel along with some of his audience favourites such as Frederic Freiherr von Furchensumpf, turtle lady Josie or ecotrophologist Professor Dr. Peter Hacke.»

Δελτίο τύπου: «‘The Devil You Know - The Unity Live’ was recorded between 2017 and 2020 during tours through Germany and a number of other European countries, at shows in small, overheated clubs with sweat dripping from the walls, but also at big festivals such as the Masters Of Rock in the Czech Republic and in Germany at the Karlsruhe Knockout Festival and the Bang Your Head in Balingen.

The track listing focuses on material from their albums ‘The Unity’ (2017) and ‘Rise’ (2018), but in ‘We Don't Need Them Here’ also includes the single release from their third album ‘Pride’ (2020), a song which was discussed controversially at the time of its release and was one of the highlights of their tour with Rhapsody Of Fire.

Talking of which: The Italian band was only one of several renowned groups with whom The Unity have toured extensively. Just as unforgettable were their concert tours alongside Sinner, Edguy and Axel Rudi Pell, where The Unity presented their outstanding skills every night, advertising their subsequent equally acclaimed headlining tours.»
